Mathematical reasoning
Linear algebra, real analysis, numerical methods, graph theory, modeling concepts, and proof-based problem solving.
ACADEMIC FOUNDATIONMATHEMATICIAN. ANALYTICAL THINKER. INDEPENDENT BUILDER.
I’m Pravin Simi, a mathematics graduate who applies quantitative reasoning, data, and technology to investigate complex problems and build practical solutions.
My training in mathematics shapes how I approach every challenge: define the problem, test assumptions, work through the evidence, and develop something useful.
At Montclair State University, I completed a Master of Science in Mathematics and served as a Graduate Assistant supporting mathematics education. I bring that foundation into independent analytical and digital product projects.

Mathematical depth, careful reasoning, and the ability to connect analysis with implementation. I distinguish established academic strengths from tools I continue to develop.
Linear algebra, real analysis, numerical methods, graph theory, modeling concepts, and proof-based problem solving.
ACADEMIC FOUNDATIONAnalytical interpretation, regression concepts, performance metrics, operational summaries, and visualization.
ANALYTICAL KNOWLEDGEDeveloping proficiency with Python and SQL; building web-based prototypes and AI-assisted workflows.
DEVELOPING TECHNICAL PRACTICEBreaking down complex mathematical ideas, supporting students, and translating technical reasoning into clear explanations.
GRADUATE ASSISTANT EXPERIENCEThree industry applications of mathematical thinking. Select any project to see the problem, analytical approach, development status, and direct application link.
Projects reflect different stages of development. Illustrative concepts are not presented as validated performance results.
The mathematics should match the problem. My approach favors transparent assumptions, interpretable methods and a clear connection to the decision at hand.
Identify the decision, users, constraints and measurable baseline.
Choose suitable ratios, comparisons, weighted scores or analytical structures.
Make the reasoning legible through visualizations and practical interfaces.
Test the assumptions, collect feedback and refine before claiming impact.
Weighted scoring allows different priorities to influence an example apartment fit score. The formula is explanatory, not a live listing or eligibility decision.
Define useful metrics, investigate patterns and communicate actionable findings.
Apply structured mathematical reasoning to uncertainty, trade-offs and decisions.
Evaluate reasoning quality, numerical accuracy and mathematical explanations.
Translate open-ended questions into analytical requirements and testable tools.
I’m interested in analytical, quantitative, research, AI evaluation and data-centered technology opportunities. Explore my projects and reach out to discuss where my background may be useful.
